Row for the Cure | Together We Thrive!
Rowers are the perfect bunch to support our community as we battle to win the fight against breast cancer. Ultimately, that is why we come together each year. Not only as competitors but as a rowing community. One goal: to kick cancer, together!
Founded in 1993, Row for the Cure is the rowing and water-sports community’s crusade against cancer, raising funds through a series of events, regattas and virtual challenges across the U.S. As a grant- making organization, Row for the Cure distributes funds to community cancer organizations which support local cancer patients and their families, rowing organizations which empower cancer survivors and to cutting-edge research conducted by Susan G. Komen.
A Message From Row For The Cure
This October we will once again host the Pink the Boathouse Challenge, using the virtual format, which allows rowers and non-rowers alike in every market across the U.S to participate. Together, we share moments of respect, honor and celebration remotely and fundraise online in support of local community cancer organizations and to help find a cure.
Happily we are will also host live regattas beginning with Row for the Cure Tulsa, hosted by the Tulsa Rowing Club on September 26 and Row for the Cure San Diego, hosted by the Crew Classic on October 9. We hope to have all our live events operational again in 2022.
