Celebrate Earth Day 2022 With JL
JL Racing recognizes the need for sustainable business practices, which is why we use sublimation instead of traditional dyeing techniques. The average dyed shirt wastes 2,700 liters of water, whereas sublimation uses heat and pressure to transfer an image to fabric, therefore resulting in zero water waste. Not only does sublimation save on water waste, but it also uses ten times less energy than regular dyed fabric. This enables us to reduce our overall energy consumption.
We believe in renewable, sustainable solutions, so our manufacturing facility is almost entirely solar-powered. In addition to our eco-friendly printing method, our precise laser cutter allows for very little fabric waste during the manufacturing process. Lastly, our JL plastic garment bags are recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable, which helps protect animals and ecosystems from deadly plastic waste. Reducing plastic waste is crucial in preserving our beautiful rivers and oceans. Without them, our robust rowing community would not exist.
