HOCR 2022 Recap

Another Head of the Charles Regatta is in the books! This is always a fun regatta for us, and this year was no different. Highlights at the JL tent included brand new product drops, fun sticker designs, customer favorites, rowing accessories, a bargain bin, and an opportunity to meet with an account manager about custom rowing gear. We also had a meet & greet with the Ukrainian National Team on Friday, as well as a meet & greet with US Para National Team athlete, Andrew Mangan on Saturday. To top it all off, 18 of our Team JL ambassadors came from all over the country and world to race together in the Men's Club 8+ and Women's Club 8+ events. Ukrainian National Team

JL supplied custom gear to the Ukrainian National Team after they had lost everything at the start of the war. We’re proud to have helped play a small part in their rowing journey and we are thrilled to continue to support the team. The team spent some time at the JL tent for a meet & greet with the rowing community, and then raced in the Men's and Women's Championship 8+ races on Sunday. The athletes looked great racing in their gear! 

 

Team JL Ambassador Boats

Team JL ambassadors from all over the country and world came together to race in the Men's and Women's Club 8+ events on Saturday. They were able to practice once together, and then race the very next day! We'd like to give a special thank you to these ambassadors for making the trip to Boston, and representing JL on the water. We would also like to give a huge thank you to HUDSON for supplying the ambassador boats. 

 

 

JL Racing Tent

Did you stop by the JL tent this year? HOCR athletes and spectators were the first to see various brand new designs in the tent this year! We dropped our new Method Collection, along with new tops, bottoms, and unisuits. If you missed the tent this year, be sure to keep an eye out for these new designs to become available on JL Athletics!
